FUN-raising

Throughout the year who have several fundraising events, all designed to help put much needed funds back into the band program and into the band student accounts. All fundraising is designed to help build a stronger band community and teamwork by bringing in all the band students to work together and fundraise.

Thrifty Foods Smile Cards and Fairway Gift Certificates

We've updated the process for purchasing either Thrifty Foods Smile Cards and the Fairway Gift Certificates.

Fundraising participation requirements:
• each band student MUST participate in a minimum of TWO fundraising activities per semester;
• each band student MUST participate in a minimum of ONE band service activity (ex., setting up for concerts, returning gear to the band room after concerts, sorting music, etc.) per semester;
• in the case where fundraiser participation rates have to be capped to ensure equal opportunity for all students to access the activity (ex. bottle drives), students will be given opportunities throughout the year to participate (i.e., the same students will not do every bottle drive). Students are responsible for signing up for various fundraisers; attendance will be monitored to ensure fair dispersal of funds.
