STEP 1 - REGISTER FOR YOUR FITTING

Click the button below or visit reynoldsband.com/joinband2025 to register for your child's instrument fitting. The Reynolds Band Instrument Fitting Event will take place on Saturday, March 1st and appointments are available any time from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM.  Your child will get to try ALL of the beginning band instruments with an Instrument Fitting Specialist who will help us fit your child to the very best possible instrument choice to have a FUN and SUCCESSFUL band experience! 

NOTE:  Students interested in percussion will be asked to attend a second percussion trial with our percussion director on Saturday, March 18th.

STEP 2 - ATTEND YOUR FITTING

Attend your child’s personal instrument screening at Reynolds Middle School in the band hall on Saturday, March 1st!  The process should take about 45 minutes, and you and your child will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about band!  At the end of the process, your child will leave knowing the top 2-3 possible instrument choices.  After all the fittings are completed, the band directors will meet with the Instrument Fitting Specialists to discuss the best possible instrument for your child!

STEP 3

Attend our Instrument Reveal Event with your child either on April 4th from 6-7:30 PM.  Once your child receives the instrument assignment, you will have the chance to visit stations to learn more about band as well as speak with a representative from a local, Prosper ISD-Approved music store to reserve your child's instrument and maintenance kit!  If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Ms. Taylor for more information.

CONGRATULATIONS!  Your child’s spot in the Reynolds Band is secured!
